Alexandra graduated in 2015 from the Massage Therapy program at Algonquin College. Since then she has worked with competitive athletes from CrossFit, fitness competitors, competitive heavy weight lifters, hockey, ultra marathon runners and football players.
She has extra training in IASTM ( instrument soft tissue mobilization), cupping therapy, rib mobilization, TMJ dysfunction and Kinesiology taping. She commonly uses deep pressure and PNF stretching techniques in her treatments. She does NOT do relaxation massages. Her therapy treatments are purely for he treatment of injuries (chronic or acute).
After having 2 kids, Alex understands the strong need for pre and postnatal treatment to help pregnant women get through pregnancy, birth as well as postpartum recovery.
